Jan Steele
I want to record some binaural panning automation on a synth pad. I'm not clear about what I need to select in Automation. Do I just use Touch or Latch and then play around with the Binaural Panner parameters, or do I need to select those parameters in the Automation Parameters menu prior to recording? David Nahmani
Just set the channel strip's automation mode to Latch and start tweaking. You don't even need to be in automation view!
Jan Steele
Thanks David, actually I was just redoing Chapter 10 to remind myself of all this - I forget it all very easily!
David Nahmani
Great. Well the more you start using it the less you'll forget.

David Nahmani
[flash=] Hitchhike? Or hijack? Either way Erik's right, might as well start a new topic for your question. Go to the Logic Pro X forum (viewforum.php?f=1) and click the green + New Topic button to start a new topic. Thanks!
