What Orchestra Libraries perform poorly in Logic 10

Sat Aug 12, 2017 8:32 pm

I'd like to try out a Orchestra Library, but want to avoid a mistake.
What's a good one to start with?
Do I need a player? Which one?
Most importantly, what Orchestra Libraries and Players perform poorly in Logic 10?
Not too concerned about money.
Going to use it mainly for traditional orchestra composition.
Thank you,

If they are AU plugins, they should all work just fine. I use a ton of stuff from EastWest (Play), and Kontakt libraries. All fine, it comes down to personal taste.
But if I were to recommend a good starter library, it would be EastWest Symphonic Orchestra. If you have a beefier system, the EastWest Hollywood orchestra. By beefy, I mean a good audio interface, 32GB Ram and SSD's.
