Something don't work for me however / It's seems that we can CMD-Clik anywhere on the GUI to reveal menu with presets .

For some LPX guys it work ...

Maybe something to do with Capitan witch is my system ... Don't know .

If some of you have tried it, experiences are welcome ;)

Part of that, a very nice synth !

Here's a free plugin from Waves Arts called Tube Saturator - http://wavearts.com/products/plugins/tube-saturator-vintage/ They have an updated more CPU-friendly version so they are giving away this full version for free.

Inear Display have updated their free Regressif Digital Chaos Unit to version 1.1 - https://www.ineardisplay.com/plugins/regressif/ It's a tasty distortion/degradation plugin that works wonders on drums, synths and even vocals if you're daring enough!!

Thanks for the post. Did you try it? I'll give it a shot anyway and compare it to the real deal and the Waves' version.

The only thing you have to do is to register an account to get it. For me, that's ok.

Nevertheless, I wasn't able to download it... :(

A free Sample Manager that runs as a plugin within your DAW has just been released over at ADSR. May help with previewing samples for beat makers and producers!

https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/software/adsr-sample-manager/

Now *this* is kickass - exactly what I needed right now - I even already posted a new thread about previewing samples inside Logic/Finder and the difficulties going along with it, but this little fellow seems to adress all my issues. I wish it was resizeable, though, a bit large on my 1680x1050 resolution - still working great (I might ask them about a resizing option...).

And as this is about whatever favourite freebies, I'll add the ones I probably use the most (they might as well have been mentioned already)

Ignite Amps

I use all of their plugins, the IR loader not so much (reasons: IRs can't be archived with the song, rather high CPU load), for that I'm using Space Designer. Best free amp pack there is, IMO at least.

Recently stumbled over this, another great amp sim:

Amplifikation-Lite-1.1.1-Screenshot.JPG

This is so good I'm considering their full versions. Tip: Make sure to turn the cab off and use your own favourite IRs.

And yet another free amp sim, I'm as well considering their Axiom plugin:

Again, my tip would be to use your own favourite IRs.

All of the free U-He synths are just excellent:

uhe-podolski-screenshot-fullui-1150x553.

I mainly use Podolski (for more fullblown stuff I have Zebra 2, IMO still one of the best synths ever, and less of a CPU hog than Alchemy on comparable patches), but the others are among the best freebies, too.

FX wise, almost the entire palette of Music Unfolding is great:

IMVHO it's worth to check them all out. And I like their looks. The xResonance thingy is nifty.

On top of the ADSR sample manager, Loopmasters have updated their Loopcloud app to include scanning of user content, and the auto-detect algorithms are very good, the app is quick and it's my preferred manager of samples now - i really like how it works, easy to tag, quick..

Plus you get free monthly content from Loopmasters as well as 500 free credits to own commercial libraries from their store. Not everyones cup of tea, but it's nice to have those features included but not being rammed in your face too.

Wow, that's quite neat - and their time stretching algorithm doesn't seem to be all too shabby, either.

Thanks for the heads up.

"The page you were looking for doesn't exist."

It was free until February 14th:

There's even been an update to the "Big Ceil" version for those that got the smaller version in time. Quite a nice move. But then, this is a CPU hog par excellence. And due to the internal structure of all the Acustica plugins (which need to load a new set of whatever responses on each knob position, from all I know at least), handling is pretty slow, too. Nice to have but probably not a must (for myself not even at all, I'm not a mixer kinda guy).

Samples from Mars is giving their 808 away for free! Get it while you can, their samples are amazing. Included are kits that are clean, or run through outboard gear for saturation. Individual samples included with various drum machine settings.

https://samplesfrommars.com/products/tr-808-samples

Whilst you're at it, you can also browse their free section for a selection of free samples (808 is the full product).

Got Iris 2 quite a while ago when they had a deal - quite nice but really not exactly up to date in terms of sample management and also in terms of modulation routing, etc. As a result of that, creating a sound that you may have in mind isn't its forte. It is however a cool thing to have in case you've got some spare time on your hands to simply fool around with it (obviously of course with the spectrum shaping tools) and just surprise yourself.

Too bad iZotope don't seem to care much about older products. Got Stutter Edit as well - and while it's still quite incredible, I could instantly come up with a whole plethora of things which would bring it up to nowadays standards. But they rather only seem to concentrate on their mixing/mastering tools these days.
