lazar
So I have a numark ttx turntable connected to a stanton m203 mixer. I am using a native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 for the interface, a macbook pro, and logic pro X. I cant figure out how to connect the mixer to the interface then to logic. Trying to record vinyl into logic, then be able to sample it with a akai mpk mini. From the mixer i connect rca cables from (master, or record?) to the interface. the interface only has 2 inputs the rcas could fit in. Would I use those spots or do I need other wires/adapters. Thanks, I am new to apple and logic.
Eric Cardenas
Use the inputs on the front of your interface set to line mode. You will need RCA to Phono adapter. http://www.mojotone.com/Mojo-1-4-Male-Phone-Plug-to-Female-RCA-Phono-Jack-image.jpg

Eric Cardenas
You're welcome. And you'll need a pair if you would like to record in stereo.
mr.duck
You might need something like this http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/PP400.aspx
Eric Cardenas
His mixer has phono-in connections dedicated to turntable pickups so that isn't necessary.

Couldn't zune4444 just select the mic level input, even though that is not quite the same as a true RIAA preamp, but much better than just using the line input option? odarque hunnett
(in part)...I'm also intending to sample vinyl for an mpk mini I missed this part earlier, but the MPK Mini is only a controller. You still need to route the audio into whatever DAW you use through the Audiobox.
