amiracam
Hi, assume I have a guitar finger picking region. The only thing wrong with it is that the bass notes are a bit too pronounced. Assuming that re-performance is not an option. How can one go about subduing the bass notes in perceived volume to the rest of the arpeggio but also if possible provide a quicker fade out to just those bass notes. I realize the latter might be more for something like Melodyne but just in case. Any thoughts general or specific are welcomed.
amiracam
so I guess re-performance , in this case I may need a re-performance but also with the VG-99 I believe that I can control the volume "mix" per string. I can drop the frequency around that note but I don't think I can just EQ this out
steveo12ax7
Multiband compression maybe. If the chord progression is such that the bass notes are the same mostly then you could tune it in to only the notes played on the low strings.
