Dewdman42
I am having SSD4 crash on LPX 10.2.1 immediately upon loading the plugin. It happens both in Logic and MainStage. None of my other plugins are giving me grief. And SSD4 is working fine in other hosts. Anyone have any ideas or experience with this issue? I've already tried deleting the AU cache. Dewdman42
yes of course. They are apparently very understaffed..just hearing crickets... I'm trying to identify if this problem is happening to anyone else or just me.
Dewdman42
I had this problem recently and during a tech support phone session with them they noticed that the name of the plugin didn't look right. It turns out that I had used LPX plugin manager to apply a custom name of "ssd4", We removed the custom name and SSD4 stopped crashing. From another thread, this appears to be an LPX bug of some kind related to custom names in the plugin manager.
Eric Cardenas
The naming issue is fixed in Logic Pro X 10.2.2.
