deckard1
Hello, I just installed a 480 GB Sandisk SSD drive in my 2012 MacBook Pro to replace the stock 5400 rpm HDD. While my computer is a million time faster as a result of the SSD installation, much to my dismay, the internal fan seems to be running at full speed too. Sounds like the computer is ready to take off. I assume there is a direct correlation between the two? Anybody know why this is so and if there is a fix? Thanks. triplets
Maybe the Sandisk is not compatible with the MBP? I always use the OWC SSD drives from www.macsales.com No issues.

Try this first to see if it mends the problem. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
