IamaCAT Posted September 1, 2017 Share Posted September 1, 2017 The problem: I'll save a song with any number of Alchemy presets assigned to their respective tracks. At some later date I'll reopen the project to continue working on it and often find that Alchemy has reset all of my presets to the very first preset in its vertical list. If I'm only using Alchemy then every track will have the same sound. If I haven't tweaked Alchemy under the hood, then the track header will still retain the name of the preset, even it's not the correct sound. Slightly annoying but easily fixable. But if I ever adjust things 'under the hood', altering the factory defaults, then these changes are lost. No idea what causes this. It doesn't occur consistently, and I can't figure out what if any variables might lead to this problem. It's been ongoing for at least two years.
