kerochan
I just read this, you can get El Capitan from the App Store. So does this mean: 1 1.if you update to High Sierra and its not for you, you can just put El Capitan on? 2. if I buy a new computer with High Sierra, I can just download El Capitan from the App store? David Nahmani
1. No and 2. No: El Capitan on the App store is reserved for specific Mac models: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206886

triplets
Ah, good to know anyway David! but I can downgrade to Sierra right? Only on computers that came with Sierra or are compatible with Sierra. Just have to wipe the hard drive and boot from a USB drive or Time Machine backup.
