duongthuan
Hey guys, I'm new to Logic (Music production in general). So recently I've been making a few simple beats and the master output seems to be clipping. I'm not too sure why, I've looked at all the individual channels of audio and instruments etc and they all seem fine. It's just the master output that is clipping. It doesn't matter how much I turn down the instruments, it will only stop clipping when I turn down the actual master output channel. Thanks in advance for any help guys. :D :D
triplets
It doesn't matter how much I turn down the instruments,... That doesn't add up. There will be a point when it won't clip anymore. Do you have a compressor or limiter on the stereo output track?
stardustmedia
Yup, that doesn't make sense. If you turn down all faders, the incoming signal in to the master must be heck lower as well. Even if there are plugins on the master, if you lower all faders the master must get lower as well. Except maybe you have some crazy settings on the master buss. Post a screenshot of your mixer. And then tell us in detail what faders you are moving.
