Logic on Macbook Air problem

Hi,

I have been using my Macbook Air with no problems running Logic, I have been using it mostly by battery power, on long train, van, plane journeys, with high brightness, and turned up loud through headphones.

Its almost 2 years old, I have been getting about 9 hours+ with the battery running Logic, now, over the past few weeks the battery will only last about 3 hours at a push.

 

I have attached the system report, it says battery normal!

 

Do I need to replace the battery?

 

Any help appreciated.

I think you should count your self fortunate to have had such long sessions until now. On my Air (which is 11". so a smaller battery) I rarely got more than 2 hours if I was running Logic. Those #s do indicate that your battery is healthy.

I heard that the 11" has a shorter battery life, thats why I opted for the 13", I thought it would be a few years before the battery life would decrease however.

I agree, 9+ hours on a single charge sounds unusually long!! Even for a 13".

I agree David, I was really surprised, but thats what I was getting, until recently, sadly, not sure what I meant to do.

Even just with normal use, emails etc, I am only getting 3 hours.
