Devlon
So, I have been unable to use a new sample because it needed to be added to my library to Native Instrument's Kontakt first. But, every time I add the library, Logic crashes immediately. So, I updated Logic and my OS, but still have the same problem. About my Mac. David Nahmani
Sounds like that's due to a Kontakt issue, not a Logic one. Indeed in the crashed thread (thread 0) you can clearly see that Kontakt is the culprit. Have you tried contacting Native Instrument about it? Another thing you could try is to quit Logic, delete its preferences (Hold down Option as you click Go > Library in the Finder, and look inside the Preferences folder for com.apple.logic10 and delete it), and try again. Garfy
Although I’ve never tried installing a library while Kontakt is open in Logic, have you tried to install the library while Kontakt is open in standalone mode instead?
Devlon
Although I’ve never tried installing a library while Kontakt is open in Logic, have you tried to install the library while Kontakt is open in standalone mode instead? I hadn't thought of that. I just tried it, but the same thing happened. So, I don't think it's an issue with Logic. Thanks!!!!
Garfy
Still a bit strange though. Is this a proper library install or is it a bunch of audio samples with a *.nki that you just point Kontakt at to play? But yeah, sounds like a message to NI would be best in this situation.
