Any one using VEP or a Hackintosh?

Recommended Posts

I'm still struggling with my 2015 mac pro. I need something more powerful, but the new Mac Pro entry level, doesn't cut it for me. I just got started adding on, and I had reached $10K.. I'd probably get OWC's 6bay Thunderbolt 3. I have two of their Thunderbays, on Thunderbolt 2. RAID 5 give you plenty of speed, and protection if one disk dies.

Hackintosh's look good, but I'm not into trying to deal with modifying code. Just starting to read about VEP.. I could purchase that, and get a lot of use.

Anyone with experience with either, please share.

If you are happy to ‘lockdown’ your OS and other software at particular versions a hackintosh is probably a very good way to go atm given you don’t want to be trying to modify code on a regular basis. There are a number of good sites that make the initial built very easy.
