Joe Lonsdale
Hi guys. I'm after a passive switching device to take a single mono XLR signal and switch it between two sources, with a third mute option: A/mute/B. I can't find anything off the shelf or an audio company that could make it. Any suggestions (other than make it yourself, which is a firm *can't*)? Akitru
Seems like you could use a simple multi-way switch like this, treating two of the inputs as your dual sources, and leaving the third empty to choose for 'mute': https://www.amazon.com/Nobsound-Audio-Balanced-Converter-Selector/dp/B07QVKPR2V/
Joe Lonsdale
Thank you. Yes, I've seen this and a couple of other likely candidates. I was hoping to find someone to make me a custom box to spec. that'll last me for ever...
