JCcares
Hi,I sometimes use a UAD Twin 710 Finity Mic Preamp to go into the Duet & then to Mac.I set the Duet input to +4db to by pass it's built in preamp. However I see a sudden drop in the volume for mic signals.I have to set the 710 preamp almost to Mac or 3/4 to get a decent volume level. Are there any other settings in the duet I need to make while using this preamp or is this normal with Duet.Specially when using a Shure sm7b mic the volume is super low! (I do understand that this mic needs a preamp push). However this is far below for a good Preamp like 710.Are there any other settings I need to make in the mixer or output of the Duet? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
triplets
Sometimes you need a Cloudlifter to juice an SM-7. Just make sure you enable Line on the Apogee Maestro app when using the 710.
