logicnoobie
This is the specific plugin i want: https://tal-software.com/products/tal-noisemaker (OSX download) I have a Macbook Air, Catalina version 10.15.3. I followed many tutorials on youtube- not specific to this piece of software, but just downloading plugins in general- and they all said to drag my download into the Components folder (under plugins, which is under audio, under library. You probably knew that lol). However, when i go to the plug in manager in logic, I can't find the software. i don't know if i'm just not looking hard enough, or not in the right spot. Or maybe i just downloaded the entire thing wrong. Who knows. And yes, i did restart my computer. no luck If anyone knows what i'm doing wrong, i would appreciate it if u helped me out! Kelcey Carey
Hi Kate. I have now made an update from version v 4.3.2 to v 4.5.2. Everything works OK for me. I don't understand why you want to move the plugins into the folder manually. The installer does it itself. What is the name of the installer for you? It should be called "tal-noisemaker-installer.pkg" with a size of 6.2 MB.
Kelcey Carey
Ok, I think I know what the problem is. Did you move the installer to the plugins folder? Do not do this. Double-clicking the installer and following the program's instructions should solve your problem.
