EmptyVesselband
Hi there, Im over it with apple. Logic is the only reason Im still here. Ready to build a hackintosh or (more likely) upgrade an older mac pro. From what Im hearing building a hack might involve learning more than I have space for these days: when apple updates, Id often need to update hardware etc... If Im mistaken there, plz do tell. So Im leaning towards upgrading an older mac pro. Hoping some folks can give me advice, what to look for, what to avoid. Ive got to keep it under $1000. Logic will be its sole purpose. I can learn technical stuff fairly easily, just dont have a lot of time or desire to get super technical. very grateful for any help! EmptyVesselband
Would something like this work for logic?
triplets
I still have my 2009 Mac Pro that I upgraded with a 12-core, better graphics, PCIe USB 3 card, Bluetooth 4.2 and an SSD for the system drive. But it didn't cost 400 bucks. More like above 800 for the upgrades. If you wanna go this route, get the 12-core. Oh, and Mojave is as high it will go with OSX.
