Hod
Hi I wish there was a shallow end part of this site where learners could splash around harmlessly and ask basic questions.... I'd like to know what the name of a particular effect is on a track (I am unable to upload an audio recording of the extract to this forum. I tried AIFFF, WAV and MP3 - no more than 3 MB and 15 secs long - is there a way to do this or is it prohibited?) It is part of a piece called "Transition" by Phil France from his album "The Swimmer". If you can play that track, at around 1:00 min in, you will hear his simple piano chords change using almost a kind of reverse effect but I don't think that's what it is. What is that effect and how do I replicate it? Many thanks Hod
fisherking
simple; a link to youtube, for example. find the section you want this effect on, cut it into a separate region, then bounce-in-place (just that region). reverse it (in the channel strip). mute the original region (or combine them), voilá! Hod
Dear FisherKing First, thank you for the YouTube link. nice. Second, thank you for the tip - So it is a reverse effect then? I will try that. Kind regards Hod
