supanorton
Hi all. I have an M-Audio Keystation 88es, which is several years old now. The controller has two inputs: one for a sustain pedal, which I have and works perfectly and one for volume, which I’ve never used. Does anyone know if I can control the wah pedals in my guitar and keyboard software if I buy an expression pedal and plug it into the volume input of my controller? I understand that I’d have to assign it and all that. I guess I'm asking if the volume input of the controller will be able to control wah effect pedals in the software. Thanks for any help on this. MikeRobinson
You can also re-map that MIDI input to control things other than volume – including "wah wah" effects. It is "a continuously variable input" that can be used to control anything you like.
