Mark1971
Hi, I got this new Alesis V61 controller a few months ago and I love it. But whenever I try to play beats using the drum pads on it I see these extra or double midi notes that I'm not playing. I'm wondering if there's some setting in Logic that I need to change or something. I went from the Alesis V49 to this V61 and the previous one didn't exhibit this behavior. Any ideas on how to fix it? Ty!
fuzzfilth
Double triggers from the pads themselves ? If so, there's probably a parameter controlling this somewhere in the keyboard
Mark1971
Hi! Yeah, like I'll tap out a beat with snare and kick and then when I look in the editor there's like more midi notes than what I actually played:) What could it be on the controller itself? I've been trying to figure it out but not having any success.
fuzzfilth
What does the manual say ?

Mark1971
okay, so i downloaded the Alesis Editor and i noticed that the 8 pads are on channel 10 but when I look in the event list in logic the channel is set to 1. I'm guessing I should change the channel on the controller from 10 to 1 to match Logic? Maybe that's the issue.
Mark1971
SOLVED....It was the velocity curve setting. It was set to high so in other words too sensitive.
