Nunstummy
Logic comes with extensive loops and samples and so does GarageBand, plus I'd added an additional 20,000 fav loops from various sources. I want to be able to share all loops not only between applications on my MacBook, but also between devices. On my iPad I use Launchpad, GarageBand and Beatmaker 3 for song ideas, then eventually bring them into Logic on my MacBook Pro. I've used ADSR's free loop library app on my Mac to consolidate all loops and samples, but there's no such equivalent or the iPad (iOS). What I'm thinking of, is storing all the loops and samples on DropBox so they can be shared across all applications and devices. Has anybody tried this? MikeRobinson
I don't think that DropBox could begin to handle this ... but what if you put the library on an external USB hard drive or SSD device?

Yes. That is a reasonable consideration. Even having a duplicate copy of all samples might make sense.
