A-49 piano not recognized by my mac mini

Recommended Posts

Hello, I use Logic on a mac mini (late2012) and I call on the skills of "Logicians" for a "peripheral" problem ...

I did a clean install of Mojave with incredible giddiness: I forgot to disconnect my master keyboard! Is this the reason why now, with the latest version of Mojave and the corresponding Roland driver, the A-49 piano is not recognized by the mac mini (no usb power supply) ... If you have any idea to fix this problem, thank you already.

Important precision this same A-49 works perfectly under Window ...

Have you cold rebooted your Mac after installing the proper drivers?

Then, have you checked in the AMS if the (Roland) device appear in the MIDI section?

Have you tested your p-49 with another app (such as SNoize MIDI Monitor) to verify if your Mac receives the p-49’s MIDI data.

Resetting the SMC & NV/PRAM on your Mac could also solve an eventual device glitch…
