HenryNicholls
I have recorded a voice in the mic. I then pan it completely to the left. Then I bounce to mp3. This creates a weird shuffling sound on the right hear (even if I put another track on the right hear). The bouncing does not do this if I keep the voice in the middle, or if I export as wave. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks
David Nahmani
I'm afraid this is most likely due to the mp3 encoding. It's a lossy compression which creates artifacts and in my experience does not react well when there's not a strong correlation between left and right (such as in your example). Still you could run some tests: 1. Try bouncing in PCM and double-check that you get the expected result without any artifacts? 2. Try using a higher bit rate for your mp3? What are your current mp3 settings in your Bounce dialog?
