TC
I'm in to a very low budget R&B production where I can't call any backing singers and the lead voice isn't capable to do the job. I was wondering if there's any backing vocal mock-up technique. Maybe using a vocoder with the main melody ? Or is there any harmonizer plugin that would help me out ? TC
Melodyne. Would the plugin do the job or would I have to go for the Cre8 ?
uncleozzy
Honestly, I don't use Melodyne, so I can't say for sure, but I don't think I'd want to use the plugin for this kind of work. Better to load the file externally, change the pitch, and re-import it into your project. Looks like you can do that with Melodyne Uno, even. Download the demos of each and give it a shot!
