EXS24 is messing up my samples

Sun Nov 05, 2017 10:28 am

When I import samples into the EXS24 instrument Editor (kicks, bass, snares, etc.) they come out distorted, although my instrument editor is at factory default. How do I fix this?

There are a few possibilities that could be the cause of distortion in the EXS24 signal flow.

1) "Boost" in the filter
2) Overall volume on the main page
3) Individual sample volumes in the map page

There are other potential sources as well.

What would be helpful would be to know:

1) How you are "importing"?
2) What are you importing from?

Screen shots of the imported map and instrument editor that are distorted.

Look forward to helping ...

Those samples you've imported are 32 bit. Update to 10.4 and you won't have this problem anymore.
