Lyrique501 Posted September 5, 2019 Share Posted September 5, 2019 I started working on this beat a few days ago, spent about 4-5 hours on it, then yesterday I spent a solid 6 hours finishing it up. I’ve been learning Logic Pro X for about 3.5 years now, and I’m still nothing close to a professional for sure. I’ve spent the last 6 months REALLY focusing on teaching myself the theory behind the music, because I never learned it besides playing trumpet in middle school band for 2 years(so I know notes and knew how to play sheet music then, but as far as keys, chords, and my very inexperienced ear I am a novice). This beat is in the key of G Major, the chords throughout are all Maj7 chords if I remember correctly. **[TL:DR]** I only have a few years experience with Logic Pro X, and barely know much about music theory but I’ve been recently teaching myself little by little so that I can improve on my production skills.
