davidjandrew
When will Apple release an update of AutoSampler that doesn't suck for Mono Instruments. I've sampling my Sub 37, even setting all the options as mono, it decides to sample as a stereo file and brings in a heinous squeal noise on the other channel. Any solutions? Or just wait for Apple to fix.
Mr. V
Same here. What does seem to work, is to replace the default Classic Electric Piano with my SI of choice, turn off the sends and reverbs, then insert AS versus using my custom set up. But the end result is still stereo files. After setting up a custom user patch with AS in place, no sends, etc. the end result is squeal on the right channel. Next up was to switch the Output to Mono, muting the right channel. The audio files are still mono and now click vs. play notes. It's encouraging to see AS available even if only in MainStage. Fortunately I still have working versions of the Redmatica Compendium. Looks like we wait for a fix.

Benzebub
Sorry to bring up this old thread, hope it is ok. I just tried to sample a synth in mono as well and I run in to the same issue with noise in the right channel. I am running Main stage 3.2.4. Has anyone found a way to create mono samples without this happening?
