DEVO Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 Hi guys, Just came across this, which is ideal for sampling my Roland JP-08. A small plastic instrument that I do not want to take out on live work. I'm just after a few tips really for sampling this. 1. I play electronic 80's covers, so only really need an octave or so for my synth lines. Do I therefore have the scope to sample every 1 ms and is this any advantage over say 3 ms? 2. As most of these are simple synth lines, any tips for the sample time? Do I need to make this longer for tracks where I play chords? 3. Do I only engage the autoloop for samples where I play chords.
