Ploki
only convoluted solutions with midi loopbacks and logic pro playing in the background APPLE WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME
Dewdman42
what are you needing to do exactly...should be possible without Logic....using scripting or third party tools...but I can't promise it can be done without a midi loopback. Ploki
i would want playback markers to switch patches The problem with midi implementation is that files have tempo changes and midi file tempo is different than what i have drawn out in logic so it inevitably falls out of sync
Ploki
what are you needing to do exactly...should be possible without Logic....using scripting or third party tools...but I can't promise it can be done without a midi loopback. I revisited this idea after discovering redoing my whole setup in ableton would be too much, then read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=136193&start=40 Since I have tempo ramps and a lot of changes in my files, using your scripter means i would probably screw my tempos up (they're not super accurate but are +/- BPM per patch) Any benefit to the scripter except not having to run logic in the background? I'm thinking of configuring logic with makers and shortcuts to markers, and then midi files triggering playback + tempo changes via IAC. Ploki
syncing via logic seems unreliable.... I can't get logic to consistently trigger patch changes in mainstage. sometimes it simply doesnt work.
