You’ll also be limited in which version of MainStage you can run because you’ll be limited in which version of OS X is compatible with a machine that old. jpb1977 Posted December 27, 2019 Share Posted December 27, 2019 It's all relative to the plugins. You'll definitely have difficulty with CPU intensive sounds and effects. But I'm amazed at what I'm able to do with my 2007 iMac and a Tascam 1604! I've got a band practice setup with V-Drums routed to Drum Kit Designer (would rather use Addictive Drums 2 but they require too much CPU), 5 mic inputs, 2 different stereo guitar inputs and a stereo keyboard input, along with bass. Bass is running through Bass Amp (software plugin) and the mics all run into a shared bus for vocal effects. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
