Dragonwind Posted December 26, 2019 Share Posted December 26, 2019 I'm curious since I did some online shows and a larger show earlier this year all running with my 2018 iMac which performed flawlessly. In the past I've always used MacBook Pros but I needed more ram, etc. Now I do have a mid 2012 MBP I7 Retina with 16GB of RAM and I could migrate the whole thing over to this for portability. There are pros and cons to each such has having to use a trackball and keyboard (or eventually a touchpad) on the iMac but I do have 32gb of ram in it. Right now the only thing I could see replacing it would be a 16" MBP with 32 or 64GB or ram....but that gets expensive. Anyways, and I one of the few running the iMac in a live situation? Thanks!
