Logic Pro Help

I'm trying to send a midi CC message to a software instrument (the VST Playbeat) but its not receiving the CC message and I'm not sure why. In the standalone version of the Playbeat, I can get it working fine.

My controller is sending a midi CC message and Mainstage is receiving it correctly as seen in the MIDI monitor.

I have the Midi Input on the channel with the instrument set to the midi controller.

What could I be doing wrong?
