Tarekith
Anyone know how to do this, or if it's even possible? That lead guitar pic puts me off on my desktop, and I'm even a guitar player. I've tried copy and paste via Get Info, no luck though. I just want to change it to a piano or something similar, not having any luck googling an answer. Thanks for your help. David Nahmani
It should be a simple copy and paste from one get info window to another. Or are you trying to create your own custom icons from scratch?
Tarekith
I guess from scratch, unless anyone has a piano icon they want to send me? Is there a folder of standard icons somewhere in Leopard I can borrow from? I tried use the Logic icons from this site too, no go. I'm guess they need to be icns files then? David Nahmani
Try this: http://www.macworld.com/weblogs/macosxhints/2005/08/quickcustomicons/index.php And one quick way to make an icon is to save any picture/photograph in a design software: Mac OS X automatically makes the icon for you, and you can select the file in the finder, press Command-C, then select the Mainstage app, hit Command-I to Get Info, select the icon and Command-V.
