ValliSoftware
I audio-to-midi a bass from a Tony Franklin library I bought. Then in order to play it properly with Rickenbacker Bass, I just made some adjustments to the MIDI. Then after that, I harmonized it to A Minor. Sure, the script may be using the same pitch set, but it’s plain to hear the D hammering away as the tonic. I’m not one to gatekeep against generative music, but computers don’t understand music theory or ear training. That track is in D minor. The pitch set that comprises A Aeolian is the same as the pitch set that comprises D Dorian—both minor keys. (To that point—though I won't presume to know how your scripter works—you're using a major chord in a minor key. If those chords all get based off A, you're literally telling it to play* the one note that "breaks" A Aeolian.) But beyond all that, I'm using years of ear training to tell you that this piece is in D. If you play a D against that tune, it'll feel like home. If you play an A, it'll feel stable, but unresolved, incomplete.
 2 weeks later... ValliSoftware
Add Chords To A Melody You've Written - 5 EASY Steps @GracieTerzian My starting point was the melody that Gracie played in her video from above. I just summed the notes to see that the melody fell into several scale/keys When I heard the melody and that she sung over the notes, I decided to give it a jazzy feel. So I picked Eight Tone Spanish in the key of B and constructed chords from that scale/key. Those 5 chords I'm using are played across 4 bars for the length of the demo. Then I just did a improvise with piano and muted trumpet.
