camillo jr
I use Quicktime now and then to grab some interesting audio off the net or capture an idea. (Using my RME mixer to record app output to QT.) The nice thing is it's fast and can flow with the spontaneity of the moment, unlike opening Logic, creating a new song, arming a track, etc... you get the idea. The less than nice thing is it's mono. This is fine if it's just me and my guitar but if it's a stereo recording on YT, it only records in mono. Any way to trick QT into recording in stereo? I've noticed that it's the same for screen recordings - strictly mono. I don't care about the screen recordings but it would be nice to get stereo audio recordings out of QT. I've got the RME set up properly - it will record stereo into Logic. Hard wired QT limitation?
mmGhost
i have the same problem. i needed to do a screen-recording and routed Logic's output to my mixer so I could record the mixer output of my mic and Logic into quick time, but I only get mono audio. Would love to know if there is a work-around.
