angelonyc
Does anyone here run Logic on a Hackintosh? It intrigues me, but I certainly don't want to get caught up in hardware/software conflicts.
sVendetta
I do. For almost 6 years now with no major problems. I run an Apollo Duo via Thunderbolt, a UAD Octo and a whole lot of plugins like Softube, Slate, Brainworx etc. All good, just head over to tonymacx86.com, build a compatible machine and give it a try... ReeceHargreaves
I've heard about this site tonymacx86.com. You can find there useful info about the Hackintosh and you check the question of hardware/software conflicts. When I was making my own Hackintosh, I found there answers for my question. Particularly about the installation process and bugs with sound and display resolution. In order to make a good Hackintosh, your base should have a least 4 Gb of ram and video memory about 1 Gb. Otherwise, it will be very slow.
