Enter a "one-button" ket command into Dictation Commands

Hello,

I am trying to set up a dictation command for the application Logic Pro X to record when I say "Computer Record" The best way I have found to make this work is to enter the short cut. However in Logic the shortcut for record is "R" and when I try to type that into the "Perform" row listed below it will not let me. It only registers the keyboard short cut if it has something like the command button or shift button typed in before it. Is there a way for "Accessibility" in "System Preferences" to recognize me entering a shortcut in that does not have a shift, option, control or command key typed before it?

Hi

I have the same problem with dictation... Did you find a solution for all transport commands (play/stop/record etc...) ?

I would also like to select a tool by vocal command (that would be awesome ! just say "velocity" or "crossfade" and activate as main tool)

Cheers

Julien

No I have not Found A Solution, You can make it "stop" by switching the Key command for "stop" to something with ⌘ ⌃ ⌥ in front of it. But that is not practical for all commands.

Right now when I say "Computer Stop" I have it set to key command "⌃ ␣" which is connected to "Stop and return to original position" inside of Logic
