DestinReign
Once you get certified in Logic Pro, how long until you have to renew your certification? Also, what is the process/ cost for recertification?
David Nahmani
The certification is valid until Apple decides to make it expire, which normally happens a few months after a "major" release. If the "major" release is a .x update (for example from 10.2 to 10.3) then there's usually a path to upgrade your certification, but not always. Basically, it's the Apple's training team's discretion, and the decision is based on how vastly different the new release is compared to the previous one. The process/cost for recertification varies, but normally it means going to an AATP to take the certification exam and the cost is somewhere between $150 and $250, at the discretion of the AATP. pianobum
HI David, Where can I get certified in LA? I wanted to take the class but I won't be able to adjust my schedule for the classes, so I'm learning on my own with your book. Is the test written or hands on or both? Thanks! David Nahmani
You have to ask LearnQuest who now handles Apple Certification. The test is written, online.
