Non Logic Pro Problem

I know this is a Logic Pro website, but I thought maybe someone here had a similar problem. A program that I use, I'll mention it in a minute, is taking a long time to open. Don't remember how long ago this started.... not that long. The program is Sibelius which is a music notation program. Maybe someone here uses it. The only thing I did was to go into utilities and do a first aid one it. That didn't help. I'm using a Mac computer. If anyone has experienced this or con suggest a solution I would appreciate it. I usually leave my computer on for about 2 weeks then I usually shut it down overnight and restart it in the morning. Doing that didn't help. When my computer is on, I don't close Sibelius, I leave it on and it works fine. When I close it and reopen it, that's when it takes very long to open. It can take over 6 minutes to open. Thanks for any help.
