Ashermusic
Fisher King, you are usually first in the pool.
KC
I would if my MP could run it,but I’m stuck on High Sierra unless I update my video card.
MikeRobinson
I think: "Software like fine wine – let it age." When a new release comes out, I usually wait about a month to install it, by which time the "minor release-number" is usually somewhere around .4. No matter how good Apple is at software quality control, an operating system release is hard to do. There will be a flurry of post-release updates in quick succession, and I prefer to wait-a-bit. (Better somebody else's forehead than mine, especially if I've got a schedule to keep ...)
Ashermusic
I agree Mike but Fisher King usually goes in.
Gravity Jim
I'm registered for the beta program, but they didn't offer me a Catalina update. I think that my 2010 12-core MacPro (with updated Metal video card) has reached the end of the trail, vis-a-vis updating the OS. I assume if I could run it, they'd ask me to try.
