I used FL Studio before and you could check the BPM in the program and the BPM would be exact and it would also show the decimals of the BPM. But there's nothing like that in Logic. And if you don't mind having your Logic tempo screwed up temporarily, its built in tap tempo is working quite well (especially as it calculates an average tempo from your last 4 taps - pretty much Boss/Roland style, which I really dig).
