fader8
One problem plug-in makers face is with the Pace Anti-Piracy technology. Currently, Pace requires plug-ins to be 32-bit, so some plug-ins may take longer than others before making the move to 64-bit. Pace declined to comment for this story. Sounds like the fire's been lit under Pace's ass!
dkgross
yup...with SOO much software being PACE/iLok authorized, developers are not going to sit quitly while their customers demand 64bit apps and not be able to ship them because of PACE issues. Sounds like customers need to be crawling up iLoks ass as much as they're bugging the plug-in developers.
guitonit
Not to derail the topic, but MAN AT&T dropped the ball at the show!! It was taking 10-15 attempts to get a simple phone call through (if it went through at all), and voicemail messages and texts seemed to magically appear when I got to the parking lot down the street. I don't normally have issues with AT&T, but this one may have been a deal breaker. Rant complete! Scott A.
