jayfield
Bfd sounds great except I can't record the grooves from the librarian onto an audio instrument track. Is this possible to do by going through a bus or aux send? If not would a VST-audio unit adaptor solve the problem? Thanks Jayfield
David Nahmani
Here is a workaround to record a Bus: • Send your Audio Instrument Track to a Bus. • Insert a noise gate plug-in onto an Input Track. • Select your bus as a Sidechain and press "Sidechain Monitor". • Then record an Audio Track with the correct Input Track. jayfield
David I tried your workaround idea you sent me yesterday. May have not done it correct as I am new to Logic. Spoke to online logic support today and they didn't think it was possible by using a noise gate. If you think it is would it be possible to put it in simpler terms for this not to tech guy Many thanks JAyfield
David Nahmani
My mistake. I corrected the previous answer: you need to insert the Noise Gate on an Input Track, not an Audio Track. I just tried it, it works fine. Let me know if it works for you?
