Merlin
I'm really happy with the latest (Logic 10.4) update of the undo function where parameter changes from the mixer can be included in the undo history. However, it's always strange and (for me) unnecessary when master fader changes are undone as well. I'd love an "exclude master fader from the undo history" function for example in the general editing preferences. Cheers, Merl.
David Nahmani
That's an interesting one. Why would you want Master Fader moves to be excluded from the undo history? What do you use the Master Fader for?
Merlin
Hello David, Probably because of the ease my MCU Pro gives in this regard, I often use it as a general monitor volume controller. Of course I set it to (a) fixed level(s) when bouncing, but before that stage, I often just grab the fader to turn the overall monitoring level up or down. When going back in the undo history I don't want the overall level to change, hence this idea.
