jnchristp
Hej, I'm sure there must be an easy way to do this: Take a plugin from one channel and drag it over to a selection of multiple channels, so that it's been inserted there with the settings from the original channel. (It works in PT by holding down shift-command and dragging.) But I cannot make it happen in Logic. When I drag a plugin and hold down the command-key, it just inserts that plugin on one channel, not on all selected. But there must be a way? Could be useful to insert a gain-staging-plugin on all channels for example. Or tape. Does anyone know a working way? I didn't find a solution on the net and in this forum. David Nahmani
You can insert a plug-in (by inserting it via the Insert pop-up menu) on multiple selected channels. For drag and drop you'd have to Option-drag multiple times.
jnchristp
Hm, that's a shame. But for the moment it seems that's the way to do it.
David Nahmani
I agree that would be the expected behavior: drag a plug-in onto multiple selected channel strips and it gets inserted in the same slot on all of them. Would be nice. I'm moving this to the New Features Suggestions.
Ploki
You can copy a whole channel strip and paste it over selected channel strips tho. Not ideal, but sometimes it can be helpful
