SideBMusic
I went to the Apple web site today and made the following suggestion for Logic Pro X: Since the buffer setting is different for recording and mixing, I suggest a dialog on the button bar to easily access the change. Currently, the user has to open the application preferences to make buffer setting changes.
Atlas007
This can be useful in some situations. However, changing the buffer size (between recording and mixing) isn't something mandatory.
thesheep
What I would prefer to see here is the audio buffer being set on a per-project basis. So if I have set the buffer to 64 samples for project A, it will automatically be loaded with that buffer size when I open the file. Perhaps project B I am in the middle of mixing and have a ton of stuff going on so for that project I set a buffer size of 512 samples. This seems like a bit of a no-brainer to me, does anyone see a downside? I guess they could add a further global setting for "set audio buffer size on a per-project basis" in case some people didn't want this?
