It's rather ironic, that Apple really likes to add unnecessary and distracting transparency all over the OS X UI, and here we have a spot where it would actually be USEFUL... :)

While working with both Logic Pro and Studio One I got so used to how Studio One handles this visually.

The Track Editor already does it.
To have that in the Main View (former Arrange View) is just Logic(al)
