razzzzz
Some want the pencil tool to draw an object with the same size as the previous drawn object. E.G., Draw a note in the piano roll which is 1 bar long. The length of the next note you start to draw will default to 1 bar long (useful sometimes) Others want the pencil tool to always draw an object at the same preset size each time. E.G. Each time you start drawing a note, its initial length defaults to 1/4 note, or perhaps it defaults to the grid setting. If you click and drag to draw a 1 bar note, the next still starts at the default 1/4 setting. Why not have 2 pencils? A "smart pencil" which remembers the length of the last drawn note, and a normal pencil which defaults to a default size (possibly user set?) I initially thought an option hidden away in the prefs screen would be cool, but thats a bit too hidden. I can see how people might want to use both options at different times. So why not have 2 pencil types? Thoughts? Alternate solutions? A button to turn "smart draw" on and off instead of 2 pencils?
