ri_ri
Hello! I'm using Logic Pro X 10.2.4. Here are the steps to reproduce the issue: 1) Create a new project 2) Insert a software instrument track 3) Set project end to 7000 (this will make your project 7000 bars long) 4) Open piano roll 5) Set playhead position to bar 5000 6) Ensure button "Catch playhead" in piano roll is on 7) Start recording: You'll notice that piano roll view automatically scrolls as playhead advances. BUT: When you hit the first note (on a MIDI keyboard, for instance) the piano roll window scrolls back before bar 2000! And you'll notice that project end in piano roll is set to bar 2000 (instead of 7000). That strange behavior only happens during recording, but it is pretty annoying since it does not allow me to track/preview the notes I'm playing during recording. I attached a screenshot to help you understand what I'm saying. Does anyone have any clue on what is going on? Thanks!

David Nahmani
Negative here, works fine. Did you repeat all the steps to reproduce including playing a note on your MIDI keyboard while Logic is recording?
volovicg
I tried it with a project length of 2010 and a start position of 2005, same thing.... As soon as you hit record the end of project marker in the piano roll is out of sync with the arrange window... .
