Eric Cardenas
The Audio file editor has an offset when displaying time in Min:Sec:Ms. This offset is related to the frame rate of the project. Steps to recreate behaviour: Start a new project and create 1 audio track. Drag and drop some audio onto that track. An Apple loop will do just fine. Open the Audio File Editor and click on the region again to make sure that it is selected (crucial step). Choose View > Min:Sec:Ms. Look at the Info display at the top right of the Audio File Editor. Expected Results: The start point should be: 1:00:00:000 Actual Results: 24, 25, 30, 50, 60 fps works as advertised: 0 ms offset 23.976, 29.97, 59.94 fps: 3600 ms offset 29.97d, 50.94d fps: -4 ms offset 30d, 60d fps: -3600 ms offset
Jordi Torres
Tried it a couple of times with different files (with an apple loop and a regular PCM file) and I get the expected result. J.
Eric Cardenas
Did you try to click on a region again in the Tracks area? Try that or simply duplicate your track and region and try the second track instead.
Jordi Torres
Did you try to click on a region again in the Tracks area? Of course, it was the crucial step! I clicked and clicked, selected and deselected, but still no offset in the start position. duplicate your track and region and try the second track instead. Still nothing: J.
